How exactly does laser hair removal work?
How the laser disables your hair follicles
The laser emits a concentrated beam of light onto the skin. The light is absorbed by the melanin in the hair and converted into heat. This heat penetrates deep into the hair root (papilla), where it causes protein structures to coagulate. This stops the hair follicle from nourishing itself. The result: hair falls out and regrowth is much slower.
In average 6 to 10 or 8 to 12 treatments (depending on skin and hair type) we can do up to 90% remove active hairs for a long time. 100% permanent hair removal does not exist But we can achieve a very smooth and long-lasting hair-free result. The body continues to activate new, previously inactive hair follicles.
Is this treatment suitable for everyone?
Safety first
Almost everyone can undergo laser hair removal. Safety is paramount, which is why I only treat clients aged 18+. 15 years (with parent or guardian present) and you must be in good health. I will take a anamnesis to determine whether treatment can be performed safely.
I do not treat or do not treat directly:

- cancer
- hepatitis
- vitiligo
- tuberculosis
- use of antibiotics
- wounds on the area to be treated
